JAH Realty announces execution of a lease and ground breaking for a new Starbucks store at Marketplace at Spring Creek located at the northwest corner of Coit Rd. and W. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano, TX. “Starbucks has been a long-term tenant in our shopping center, and we are excited to develop a new freestanding store for them on a pad site at the property” said Graham Irvine, Managing Director of Investments, for JAH. Irvine worked with Darrel Hernandez at CBRE on the transaction.
The new store will be 2,000 s.f. with a drive-thru and patio seating offering Starbucks customers a modern look and feel both inside and out. “This will be our second “new build” for Starbucks in recent years. We have a good relationship with Starbucks in several markets and hope to do other deals with them as opportunities present themselves,” said Jeff Norman, President of JAH. The JAH team, working with Liz Johnson of Wallace|Johnson Studio Architecture, conceived a creative plan to develop a new pad site in the parking lot on the northern end of the shopping center. Jim Martin and Thomas Woldert of JAH will oversee the construction of the new building and Ever Construction of Dallas will serve at the General Contractor. JAH expects to complete the building in the Fall of 2018.
