JAH Announces New Lease with Burlington Stores- The Shops at Stonebriar, Frisco TX
JAH Realty, L.P. (“JAH”) announces a new lease with Burlington Stores at the Shops at Stonebriar in Frisco TX.
JAH is excited to announce that Burlington Stores will open a 50,000 s.f. store in the building formerly occupied by Toys R Us.
Graham Irvine, Managing Director of Investments with JAH said, “We recently acquired The Shops at Stonebriar in late 2017 and were fortunate to quickly identify a new anchor for the shopping center following Toys R Us closing. We anticipate Burlington will open sometime by mid-year 2019.” The shopping center is approximately 180,000 s.f. and is located at the intersection of Preston Road and Gaylord Parkway on the periphery of Stonebriar Centre in Frisco.
“Burlington will be a wonderful addition to our tenant mix which already includes Sun & Ski Sports and DXL” said William Rosatti Leasing Associate for JAH. “With the regional draw of the mall behind our property and the rapid growth in the trade area, we expect sales to increase substantially over the next few years for all tenants.” Rosatti is the JAH contact for leasing in DFW.
JAH will oversee construction soon on the interior and exterior improvements for the new store in Frisco, and construction will start soon. Chris Green of Edge Realty represented the Burlington on the lease transaction. Burlington operates 651 stores according to industry sources.
