FRISCO, TEXAS – April 8, 2019 – El Rincon Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar, an upscale restaurant located on the Downtown Carrollton Square, announces today the groundbreaking of its second location in Frisco at the Shops at Stonebriar. The restaurant worked with JAH Realty to secure the lease.

The Frisco location will open this summer and will be located at an outparcel location formerly occupied by Mellow Mushroom. El Rincon’s executive team has plans to transform the interior and outside patio with a refreshed look and improved ambiance.

“As a restaurateur in North Texas, it is always an exciting time when you have the opportunity to expand a concept that you love,” said Rick Na, founder and owner of El Rincon. “We know that Frisco will be a beneficial and strategic addition to the El Rincon brand and we look forward to meeting our new guests.”

El Rincon, meaning, “the corner”, opened in Downtown Carrollton at South Elm and 4th Street in 2016. The restaurant focuses on a fusion of Mexican favorites equipped with fresh ingredients and local dining preferences.

“Known for its fresh ingredients and upscale tequila menu, El Rincon will greatly enhance our food and beverage offerings at the Shops at Stonebriar,” said William Rosatti, Senior Associate for JAH Realty. “El Rincon will open this summer around the same time as Burlington, which will generate a significant increase in foot traffic to the property.”
