JAH Realty, L.P. (“JAH”) announces the acquisition of Phase II of the Timberlake Shopping Center which is a 20,600 square foot shopping center located on approximately 1.76 acres at the southeast quadrant of Lakeview Parkway (SH Hwy. 66) and Rowlett Rd. in Rowlett TX. This acquisition will add to JAH’s current holdings at this location now totaling over 56,000 s.f. The acquisition closed on September 14, 2023.
The Timberlake Shopping Center is located in the geographic heart of Rowlett along Lakeview Parkway, situated directly north of the Rowlett Dart Station and City offices. The shopping center is anchored by Harbor Freight Tools with a collection of smaller service, retail and restaurant tenants, and shadow-anchored by an additional 30,000 s.f. comprised of Aldi and Goody Goody Liquor. Phase II is the northeast side of the property beginning at First Step Chiropractic through Pancho & Lefty’s Tex-Mex Cafe and Cantina.
Graham Irvine of JAH commented: “Timberlake Shopping Center has consistently performed for our company for over 15 years, and we engaged the Seller immediately when the opportunity to purchase this phase of the property was presented to us”. We believe Rowlett will continue to be a thriving suburb on the eastern side of Dallas County due to its strong public schools, excellent demographics, abundance of new housing, and strong city leadership. With this recent acquisition, JAH now owns a total of 56,147 s.f. at the intersection. “The seller of the property was a local family estate who worked directly with our team” said Irvine.
JAH Realty, L.P. wholly owns and manages a shopping center portfolio of 2.6 million square feet in
Dallas-Ft. Worth and Oklahoma City, and additionally manages a 1.3 million square foot portfolio in two other states on behalf of TriGate Capital (an affiliated company).
